4 Exercises that Men Can Do for Better Sex

Aside from eating the right foods, exercise can actually help improve your sexual
performance. That is a statement that was said by personal trainer and exercise
physiologist, Pete McCall from the American Council on Exercise.

Exercise is great because it is a physical activity that can help improve heart rate, as
well as making sure that your body burns excess fat.

This works best in conjunction with a balanced diet, as well as libido-boosting
supplements for a perfect 3-punch combo.

So, what exercised would bring the most benefit when it comes to improving your
sexual performance?

1. Resistance Training

According to McCall, weightlifting is certainly one thing that you want to incorporate in
your weekly routine. That is because lifting some weights can help ramp up the
production of testosterone which is a precursor for improved male sex drive.

That being said, there are a lot of exercises that you can do but if you are pressed for
time, you can go for compound exercises instead. These are a set of exercises that will
hit a lot of muscle groups per repetition. Some great examples include the deadlift,
bench press, and squat.

Of course, you also want to hit other specific areas as well. You can incorporate bicep
curls and triceps pushdowns to help target your arms. Do resistance training for at least
3-4 times a week.

2. Kegel Exercise

The point of resistance training is to harden your muscles and improve your
testosterone production. But, there is a certain muscle group that you also want to
improve upon and that is your pubococcygeus muscle that is part of your pelvic floor
muscle group.

This particular muscle contracts whenever you ejaculate or urinate. To locate these
muscles, all you have to do is put a finger on the area just below your balls while you
urinate. You will feel some movement down there and that is where your PC muscle
usually resides.

The main idea of Kegel exercises is to flex your PC muscles in a way that you can
squeeze it for a couple of seconds. Doing this a couple of times a day for at least 4-5
times a week will definitely strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.

3. Yoga

Although the aforementioned exercises help strengthen and build your muscles, it
certainly does not bode well for your flexibility if you do not mix things up. Incorporating
Yoga should definitely be a part of your weekly routine.

Why is Yoga necessary if you want to improve your sexual performance? Well, aside
from the fact that Yoga can give a lot of benefits, it certainly does wonders when it
comes to your overall flexibility.

Practicing Yoga consistently will allow you to engage in sex positions that would
otherwise be hard for you to do.

4. Swimming

Swimming is one of the best aerobic exercises out there because it targets all muscle
groups at the same time while also improving your heart and lung functions.

That being said, aim to get at least 30-minute sessions about three times a week.
Obese men should think about getting swimming classes as this activity alone can help
burn a lot of calories.
